Supply Only or Supply and Installations of ‘Natural Air Products’:
– Roof turbines: Residential and Industrial applications.
– Container turbines (turbines have a lower profile than the roof turbines).
350mm DIA turbines are used for residential installations. Each turbine can service 90m² of ceiling cavity space, or 50m² of floor space if there is no ceiling.
500mm DIA turbines are used for industrial applications. Each turbine can service 120m² with an average factory roof height.
Turbines are locally manufactured from 4 types of metal: Galvanized, Aluminium, ZincAlume and Chromadeck.
All extraction rates and specs have been calculated by Stellenbosch Universities Institute for Thermodynamics and Mechanics.
Roof turbines employ exterior wind and rising heat from within the structure during their extraction process. There is no maintenance involved on any of the turbines for the property owner.
Additional products used during the installation process are also available:
trimmers, flexible or solid ducting, back-flashing sheets, air-valves, grids, etc.
– For fireplaces and braai’s, we use Windmaster International’s Chimney Champ range.
The 300mm DIA Chimney Champ is used for fireplaces, while the 350mm DIA unit is used on top of braai’s. These turbines have a complete, dbl metal bearing that can withstand smoke temperatures of up to 250 degrees Celsius. The Chimney Champ is available in a charcoal Chromadeck colour or in Stainless Steel. The unit can be fixed onto a brick chimney or a metal flue pipe. The product has been designed to extract smoke, by making use of rising heat in the chimney shaft and also by employing the wind. These units are classified as ‘Active extractors’.
